Legal Services Corporation
The private, non-profit corporation established by Congress in 1974 to assure equal access to justice under the law for all Americans. LSC’s mission is to promote equal access to the system of justice and improve opportunities for low-income people throughout the United States by making grants for the provision of high-quality civil legal assistance to those who would be otherwise unable to afford legal counsel.

LegalMeetings is a virtual conference center for legal aid programs. It is designed to promote training and communication among programs that provide free legal help to the poor. Funded by the Legal Services Corporation Technology Initiative Grant Project, this website is a learning portal offering continuing legal education courses, professional development seminars, and on-line meetings.
