A free legal help hotline is now available for Kentucky Flooding survivors in Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Knott, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, Owsley, Perry, Pike and Whitley counties. The hotline is available to connect survivors to free legal services in qualifying counties who cannot afford an attorney.
The Legal Help Center is located in the basement of of the Fayette County Circuit Courthouse and is open to the public every Thursday from 11 am - 2 pm.
Starting July 16, people in mental health crisis will have a new way to reach out for help. Instead of dialing the current 10-digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, you can simply call or text the numbers 9-8-8.
